Identification If you have a Gateway 200ARC notebook with CR-RW part number 5503010, upgrade to this version of Nero Burning Software. Installation 1. The files are extracted to the C:\Cabs\9526603 folder. 2. In the C:\Cabs\9526603 folder, double-click Nero6.0.0.28b_UPDATER_CD3727.exe to begin the installation. 3. In the Update Wizard dialog box, click Next. 4. Software Updater detects an older version of software and prompts you to remove the old version first. Click Next. 5. When the removal is completed, in the License Agreement dialog box, select I Accept all terms of the preceding license agreement, and then click Next. 6. In the Customer Information dialog box, type the information requested, and then click Next. 7. In the Update Wizard dialog box, click Finish. Removal 1. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs. 3. In the Add or Remove Programs window, click to select Nero OEM, and then click Change/Remove. 4. In the Welcome to the Uninstallation Wizard dialog box, click Next. 5. In the Uninstallation Completed Successfully dialog box, click Finish. Troubleshooting If you have trouble updating the software, try the process again following the steps listed in the Installation section of this document. If you are still unable to update the software, verify that you are actually attempting to update the software, be sure the version of Nero burning software is 6.0.0.6 to 6.0.0.22. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
