Identification If you have a Gateway 450RGH notebook computer and are running Windows XP or Windows 2000, install these drivers. Installation 1. The files are extracted to C:\Cabs\9526082. 2. In the C:\Cabs\9526082\ folder, double-click 42000028.exe. 3. In the Sigma Tel Audio Setup dialog box, click Next. 4. In the Release Notes dialog box, click Next. 5. In the Choose Destination Location dialog box, click Next. 6. In the Select Components dialog box, click Next. 7. Click Finish. Removal 1. In Windows XP, from the Start menu, click Control Panel. In Windows 2000, from the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs. 3. In the Add or Remove Programs window, click C-Major Audio, and then click Change/Remove. 4. In the Confirm Uninstall dialog box, click OK to remove the driver. 5. In the UninstallShield Wizard dialog box, verify Yes, I want to restart my computer now is selected, and then click Finish to restart the computer. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then reinstall the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
