Overview  

This is the Windows XP and Windows Vista media card reader driver for the computers listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section of this document. 


Installation 

After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file D20003-003-001, files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\D20003-003-001 folder on the hard drive.


Windows XP

1. From the start menu, click on Run and type: C:\Cabs\D20003-003-001\Setup.exe, and then press ENTER.

2. Follow all on screen instructions to complete the installation.


Windows Vista

1.  From the Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: C:\Cabs\D20003-003-001\Setup.exe, and then press ENTER.

2.  In the User Account Control dialog box, click Allow/Continue.

3.  Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation.


Removal 

Windows XP

1.  From the start menu, click control panel.

2.  Double click on add/remove programs.

3.  Highlight Texas Instruments PCIxx21/x515/xx12 Drivers, and then click Change/Remove.

4.  Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the removal.

Windows Vista

1.  From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 

2.  In Control Panel, click Uninstall a Program.

3.  In the Programs and Features window, select Texas Instruments PCIxx21/x515/xx12 Drivers, and then click Uninstall/Change.

4.  In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.

5.  Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the removal.


Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, download the file again, and then perform the installation steps for a second time.


Reason for Update 

This is the initial release of the driver for Windows Vista.
