Identification If you have a Gateway notebook computer listed below in the Applicable Part Numbers section, and are running Windows XP, install these drivers. Installation 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance. 3. In Performance and Maintenance, click the System icon. 4. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. 5. In Device Manager, double-click Human Interface Devices, and then double-click Tablet PC Buttons. 6. In the Tablet PC Buttons Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Install. 7. In the Update Wizard dialog box, click Install from a list or specific location, and then click Next. 8. Click to select the Include this location in the search check box, and then type: C:\Cabs\D00367-002-001. Click Next. 9. Files copy. 10. Click Finish, and then restart the computer. Removal 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance. 3. In Performance and Maintenance, click the System icon. 4. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. 5. In Device Manager, double-click Human Interface Devices, and then double-click Tablet PC Buttons. 6. In the Tablet PC Buttons Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. 7. In the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK. 8. In the System Settings Change dialog box, click Yes to restart the computer. Troubleshooting If you are having problems with your Tablet PC Buttons driver, reinstall it by following the installation steps listed in this document. If the problem persists, remove the driver using the steps in the Removal section of this document, and then reinstall it. Reason for Update This is the initial release of the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
