CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card Installation
for Windows95 & Win95 OSR2
Installation Procedure

There are two versions of Windows 95: the original Win95 and Win95 OSR2.
You can find out the Win95 version number from the System icon under
Control Panel. You will see "4.00.950" or "4.00.950a" with the original
Windows95 while Win95 OSR2 will show "4.00.950B".
The driver installation procedure for the two versions are different.
Following are the installation procedures for the two different Win95
versions.
Installation Notes For Windows95 Users
--------------------------------------
1. We assume that the PCMCIA Chipset drivers are loaded and
functioning. The "System" icon in the "Control Panel" window can
report on its functionality. Any question on this layer need to be
taken up with the machines manufacturer.
2. After Windows 95 is fully functional and the PCMCIA Chipset drivers
are working properly, you can install CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card
3. Insert the CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card into the PCMCIA Slot.
4. The card will be recognized, but will request a driver. Please
select "Have disk from Manufacture".
5. Insert the driver diskette in Drive A.
6. Please input the full path to the drivers.
i.e. A:\Win95
7. The driver will be installed and it may ask for the installation
CD/disks. After the installation is complete, Win95 will reboot,
and the card will be fully functional.
Installation Notes For Win95 OSR2 Users
---------------------------------------
1. Start your PC, then insert the CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card
into an available PC Card slot in your PC.
2. After starting Windows 95, the CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card
will be detected automatically, then the Update Device Driver Wizard
window appears.
3. Click the Next button in the Update Device Driver Wizard window.
Win95 will start to search floppy drive A for network driver,
and Windows displays the message
"Windows was unable to locate a driver for this device"
4. Insert the CB110-16 driver diskette
into drive A.
5. Click the "Other Location..." in the Update Device Driver Wizard
window, then the Select Other Location window appears.
6. Type A:\Win95 and click OK button.
7. Click Finish button, then the Win95 starts to copy the
CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card driver
to the user's hard disk.
8. If Win95 prompt you "The file 'Cb16ND3.SYS' on CB110-16 driver diskette
could no be found", "Insert
CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card Driver Disk into the drive
selected below and, click ok", fill the "Copy file from:"
A:\Win95
Then click ok.
9. Restart your computer.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
