                  CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card Installation 
                      for Microsoft Network Client 3.0 for MS-DOS


 Installation Notes For Windows for Workgroup 3.11
 -------------------------------------------------

    This installation assumes that the PC Card devices are working
    properly. Please consult "Installation Hints for DOS" for help 
    with PC Card driver. Getting Started will describe the 
    installation instructions.


 Setup Procedure:
 ----------------
 [Method 1]:

    1. Please change to the Microsoft Network Client subdirectory
          and run SETUP.EXE. (default directory is C:\NET)

    2. Respond to the screen prompts, selecting "Change Network
          Configuration", then press <Enter>.

    3. Move the highlight to "Add Adapter for network Adapter",
          press <Enter>.

    4. Select "Network adapter not shown on list below ...".
 
    5. Insert the driver diskette into the drive A or B.

    6. Please specify the location of the OEM driver
              Ex: A:\NDIS2DOS

    7.Select an adapter from the list below --> Cb110-16 10 / 100 Mbps
      PC Card.

    8.Select "Add Protocol" as you want.

    9. Follow screen instructions to complete the process. Simply
       pressing <Enter> for each screen display will select the
       default options. Press <Enter> until you reach the display
       prompting you to reboot your system.


 [Method 2]:

    1. Execute SETUP.EXE from Microsoft Network Client for DOS
          release diskette.

    2. Specify the <target path> to which Microsoft Network Client for
          DOS files will been copied.

    3. Select "Network adapter not shown on list below ...".

    4. Insert the driver diskette into the drive A or B.

    5. Please specify the location of the driver
              Ex: A:\NDIS2DOS

    6. Select "CB110-16 10/100Mbps PC Card".

    7. Select "Change Network Configuration", "Add Protocol" as you
       want.

    8. Follow screen instructions to complete the process. Simply
          pressing <Enter> for each screen display will select the
          default options. Press <Enter> until you reach the display
          prompting you to reboot your system.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
