Bellow is the information on how to get the Linux 2D drivers: "RS300 is supported since XFree86 4.3.99.8 and up. To update drivers for RS300 support, please follow these steps: 1. Install Linux with XFree86 4.3.xx support (Redhat 9 and SuSE 8.2 will be okay). 2. Download three components (XFree86, ati_drv.o and radeon_drv.o 3. Replace these three files on the system with the downloaded files. 3.1. ati_drv.o and radeon_drv.o are usually located in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers directory. 3.2. XFree86 is usually in /usr/X11R6/bin. 4. Modify the X configuration file to use ati or radeon driver instead of vesa driver. The configuration file is usually in /etc/X11/ and named XF86Config or XF86Config-4.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
