The PX5D SoundEditor is an application that allows you to edit all the parameters of the PX5D from your computer. The edits that you make are immediately sent to the PX5D so that you can check the sounds as you edit them. Since the PX5D SoundEditor can graphically display many parameters at once, all the capabilities of the PX5D can be handled easily. When finished, your programs can be written to the PX5D or to a file on your computer. The PX5D SoundEditor is a useful librarian for managing all your sounds and settings. Factory preset programs("PX5D Preset Program.px5p"), factory preset chains("PX5D Preset Chain.px5p") and extra 100 preset programs ("PX5D Extra Program.px5p") are included.

* To use this software with your PX5D, you will need a computer with a USB cable. It's necessary to install KORG USB-MIDI Driver (V1.11r1.5 or later) in your computer.

Installation

Double-click the "SePx5d_v100_setup.exe" file to start the installation process.
When the installation succeeds, the short-cut to the application and the manual is created in the start menu.
The Factory preset data files and the Extra programs file are copied to the installation folder when the application program is installed.

Uninstall

1. Exit the PX5D SoundEditor.
2. Open the "Uninstall a program"(or "Add / Remove Programs") in the Control Panel.
3. Select the "PX5D SoundEditor" from the displayed list.
4. Click the "Remove" button.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
