10/100 FastEthernet PC Card Driver for lna-100n2 model 
after RedHat 7.0 or Kernel 2.4.0 Installation How-to:

This card uses the default drivers provided in RedHat 7.0 or Kernel 2.4.0 and no
additional drivers are needed. Please setup the TCP/IP or DHCP according to your needs.

If you can't perform the PING function, please follow the steps below:
 1. In /etc/pcmcia/config file modify following lines 
    
   Existing lines in document->                
   
       device "pcnet_cs"
       class "network" module "net/8390, "pcnet_cs"
    
   Add three lines->     
       card "Billionton LNA-100B"
       version "Billionton", "LNA-100B"
       bind "pcnet_cs"
     
 
  2. Restart the cardmgr-
	
        "/etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia restart"


Note: If the following error message ("unable to read hardware net address for io bass 0X300") shows up when you insert the card, that means the card is not supported after 2.2.16-22. The source codes can be found in the Linux folder.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
