This update package contains:
- PC software and drivers in the selected language for the Gigaset USB Adapter 108.

III. Changes in the version:
- Windows Vista32/64 is supported
- DHCP problems under Windows 98/ME solved.
Known Issues:
- LEAP and TTLS are not support on Vista (Vista limitations).
- Signal strength and link quality indication not update real time on Vista platform. (Vista Driver limitations)
- Vista driver doesn't support static Super-G detecting and connection. (Vista Driver limitations)
- Multiuser support under Windows XP improved
- WPA2 is supported
- XR (eXtendet Range) is supported
- Installation and reinstallation procedure improved
- In the status screen the display of “Transmission Rate”, “Transmission Mode” and “Signal Strength” are improved
- Automatic connection after starting up the computer from Stand by mode is possible.

Update procedure:


- Uninstall the old version before you start to install the new one.
- To uninstall the old version click on “Start” – “Programs “ – “Gigaset USB Adapter 108” – “Uninstall Gigaset USB Adapter 108”.
- Additional information about the Uninstall procedure can be found in the user manual.

After downloading the new version a new executable file for the adapter you can be found in the download folder. After executing the file all important information files will be extracted to:
To install the new version start the file setup under:
C:\Siemens_WLAN108\usb_Adapter_108\V2025\your language"

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
