1. How to set up SX-Biometrics Suite
===============================================================================

  Start menu will be displayed if PC has a auto-run utility (CD-ROM auto boot)
on Windows when you set up this CD-ROM. From a start menu, you can display
this file and functional introduction of SX-Biometrics Suite, and execute setup of
SX-Biometrics Suite.


  * If you try to install this CD-ROM on the network drive, please allocate
    the network drive first.

  * If PC does not have a auto-run utility, set CD-ROM then execute AUTORUN.EXE
    on the root directory (CD-ROM is attached D drive then select D:\).
    start menu will appear.


  Select "SX-Biometrics Suite Setup" on the start menu, setup will be executed.
  Follow the guidance on window for setup.




  * It may sometimes be difficult to enroll and verify fingerprint for
    authentication due to physical conditions. Please contact us to solve
    the problems.

2. About PDF Manual
===============================================================================

 This CD-ROM contains a manual that you can read with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
 You can directly move to the sections you want to read by clicking on the items
 in the contents overview.

  - Adobe Acrobat Reader is a software for displaying and printing PDF
    (Adobe Portable Document Format) files.

  - If your PC does not have the Acrobat Reader, it will be installed automatically.
    Please follow the wizard instructions to complete the installation.

3. Handle for fingerprint sensor (notice)
===============================================================================

  Do not disassemble, remodel, bend, give a shock, soak, handle with a wet hand,
         keep and use in the humid area, keep close to children.




<> Cleaning

  We strongly recommend to clean sensor's surface periodically to maintain 
a good performance. If you see a dirt, clean now.
  Please use a clean cotton cloth or a tissue. With a disinfecting alcohol
may help to remove oil and dirt easily from the surface.
Do not use same article again.
  Do not use a organic solvent such as thinner. Do not use chemical cloth, 
nylon brush, polish pad, liquid or powder with polisher due to making damage
to the sensor.
