EM4420 Firmware
--------------------------------------

These instructions help you:
- to create a backup of the current settings of your Eminent router
- and update the firmware of the device.

Backup current settings
1. Open the Internet Explorer.
2. Typ http://192.168.1.1 and press Enter on your keyboard.
3. Log on to the page without a username and password, so press OK.
4. Click on 'System Tool' in the menu.
5. Click on 'Backup/Restore'.
6. Click on 'Backup'. A download window will appear. 
7. Save the file to your desktop.

Installation of the firmware
1. Go to 'Firmware Upgrade' (in the left menu).
2. Click 'Browse' to select the firmware file: 'EM4420-TE03-082m.dat'.
3. Click 'Upgrade' and a window will appear. Click OK to continue.
4. Wait until the firmware has been installed.
5. A window will appear, with 'Update successfully, Please reboot router'. Click OK.
6. Click 'Restore Factory Setting' in the left menu.
7. Click 'Restore' on the page.
8. Click 'Reboot' in the left menu.
9. Click  'Reboot'on the page.
10. The router has been rebooted.

Reload backup settings:
1. Click on 'Backup/Restore'.
2. Click 'Browse' and select the backup file saved earlier on your desktop. This file will have the name 'config.bin'. Click Open to select this file.
3. Click on 'Restore' to save the settings into the router.
4. Wait until the router is done. The Status page will appear automatically.

The upgrade is finished.
