EM4218 - Firmware upgrade instructies

Deze firmware lost de volgende problemen op:
- Waarschuwing bij het uploaden van de Firmware toegevoegd
- DHCP range aangepast van 64~254 naar 2~254
- Reboot/Restart functie vergroot van 30 seconden naar 75 seconden
- Cache bij gebruik Internet Explorer uitgeschakeld
- Toevoeging "Scan Network" functie op WDS pagina
- SNMP is standaard uitgeschakeld

Volg onderstaande instructies om de huidige instellingen van
je EM4218 op te slaan op de computer, de firmware te 
installeren en de instellingen weer terug in de EM4218 te 
zetten.

Let op! Voer deze instructies alleen met een bekabelde verbinding uit!


1. Pak de bestanden uit op het bureablad van uw computer
2. Open de instellingspagina van de EM4216 via de Internet 
   Explorer, standaard kan dit via http://192.168.1.1
3. Log in met de gebruikersnaam 'Admin' en het wachtwoord 
   'Admin', tenzij dit in het verleden gewijzigd is.
4. Ga naar het menu Tools, klik daarna op Backup.
5. Maak een backup van de huidige instellingen, dit kan
   door op 'Save' te klikken. Sla het bestand 
   'config.xml' op uw bureablad op.
6. Klik daarna op Update (in het menu Tools). Klik op de knop Bladeren en selecteer het uitgepakte
   firmware bestand '8411G_INLD_040109.02FA.img'.
7. Klik op de knop Upload om de firmware in te 
   laden.
8. Wacht geduldig totdat de firmware volledig ingeladen is
   en de router opnieuw opgestart is. Dit kunt u zien aan 
   de ledjes op het apparaat zelf. Als de telefoonlijn nog
   aangesloten is zal na verloop van tijd het ADSL ledje 
   kort knipperen en vervolgens constant branden. De EM4206
   is dan opnieuw opgestart.
9. Log opnieuw in op de instellingspagina en ga wederom naar
   het menu Tools, Backup.
10.Blader nu naar het bestand 'config.xml' wat u eerder heeft
   opgeslagen op uw bureablad. Klik op Upload om de
   instellingen weer in te laden.
11.Wacht opnieuw totdat de EM4218 opnieuw opgestart is. Als
   het ADSL ledje constant brandt kun je weer internetten.

Changes in this firmware
- Add upload warning on Firmware update page.
- DHCP range fixed from 64~254 to 2~254.
- Reboot/Restart state bar run-time from 30 seconds to 75 seconds
- IE cache disabled on webinterface.
- Add "Scan Network" function in WDS webpage.
- SNMP disabled by default.

Use the following instructions to save the current settings
on your computer, to install this firmware and reload the 
settings.

Attention! Only perform these instructions using a wired connection!

1. Unzip the files to your desktop.
2. Open the webpage of the EM4218, this is http://192.168.1.1
   by default.
3. Log on with username 'Admin' and password 'Admin', unless 
   this has been changed earlier.
4. Go to Tools, Backup
5. Save a backup of the current settings, by clicking on button
   'Save'. Save the 'config.xml' file on your
   desktop.
6. Go to Update. Browse to the folder of the firmware and select the file
   '8411G_INLD_040109.02FA.img'.
7. Click on 'Upload' to start the update.
8. Wait untill the EM4218 has been rebooted. Check if the ADSL
   led is blinking for a few seconds and then burns constantly.
9. Log on to the webpage to reload the settings. Go to Tools, 
   Backup.
10.Browse your computer and select the 'config.xml' file. Click
   on 'Upload' to update the settings.
11. Wait untill the EM4218 has been rebooted. Check if the ADSL
   led is blinking for a few seconds and then burns constantly.
    Your internet connection should work automatically.
