       OS/2 ODI Driver Installation for NetWare OS/2 Client
       ====================================================

   Driver Location

        \OS2\ET32ODI.SYS

   The OS/2 ODI driver files have been properly prepared in the driver
   diskette under \OS2 sub-directory for Netware 3.12/4.X OS/2 Client
   installation.

   Procedures:
   ----------

   1. Start up your OS/2 system.
   2. Insert the Netware Client for OS/2 Disk1 WSOS2_1 into drive A:.
   3. Choose the "Drive A" icon from the desktop.
   4. Choose the "Drive A" icon from the "Drive A Tree-View".
   5. Select the "INSTALL.EXE" icon.
   6. Select the "Installation" menu bar.
   7. Select the "Requester on Workstation" bar.
   8. Use C:\NETWARE as default for Requester files and select "Ok".
   9. Select "Edit CONFIG.SYS and Copy All files" item.
  10. Insert Adapter driver diskette inot drive A:.
  11. Select "Continue".
  12. "ET32ODI.SYS" is listed on the screen.
  13. Select "Continue".
  14. Follow the screens to complete "installation" menu.
  15. Select "Configuration" menu bar from the Netware Workstation for
      OS/2 Installation Utility.
  16. Select "This Workstation".
  17. Enter the default location for NET.CFG file.

        C:\NETWARE

  18. Type the following lines for the NET.CFG:

        Link Driver ET32ODI
             Frame Ethernet_802.2

  19. After complete the creation of NET.CFG file, select "Save".
  20. Exit "Install".
  21. Shut down your system and reboot it.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
