EISA Configuration Utility - Version 2.01
American Megatrends, Inc.
Release Notes
April 19, 1993

This document outlines the new features that were added and bugs that were
fixed in Version 2.01 of AMIECU. The previous version of AMIECU was 2.00
which was released on 1/29/93. Most of the changes to the ECU are small bug
fixes that affect a limited number of systems.

Under version 2.00, if a board with several IRQ choices which were sharable
was manually inserted after a board with only one IRQ choice, the ECU would
sometimes report that it could not resolve the conflict. This has been
corrected in version 2.01.

When creating temporary files, under some conditions, version 2.00 did not
report an error if the disk became full. This caused seemingly unrelated
error messages to appear later. Version 2.01 now properly reports "disk full"
errors.

Under some conditions version 2.00 would not allow IRQ levels or DMA channels
to be shared if they were included in the resources of a LINK group in a CFG
file. Version 2.01 handles these CFG files correctly.

Version 2.00 would not allow some boards to share memory address ranges.
Version 2.01 corrects this problem.

Version 2.00 displayed some screens generated by overlay files incorrectly
(some parts of the screen were shifted to the right). Version 2.01 displays
these screens correctly.
