To use the driver, please add Smart Card support to your catalog in Platform Builder. 2. Installation --------------- 1. Select Settings in Platform menu. You will see Platform Settings dialog box. 2. Click on Custom Build Actions tab. Select Pre-Make Image in build step. 3. Click on New... button to add the action. 4. Assume you have copied the driver file in "%PBWORKSPACEROOT%\drivers\acsccid\x86\acsccid.dll". Enter "copy %PBWORKSPACEROOT%\drivers\acsccid\x86\acsccid.dll %_FLATRELEASEDIR%" in the Custom Build Action dialog box. Click on OK button to finish. 5. Click on OK button in Platform Settings dialog box to apply the settings. 6. Edit the MODULES section of Project.bib to add an entry to the driver file. Sample Program ----------------- To use the APDU test program, please add Console support to your catalog in Platform Builder. To run the APDU test program: 1. Plug in ACR122U reader to one of the available USB ports. 2. Make sure that you have copied testapdu.exe and scripts folder to Windows CE. 3. Select Command Prompt from Programs menu in Windows CE. 4. In this example, Mifare 1k card will be used. Place the Mifare 1k card and enter "testapdu \scripts\ACR122U\Mifare1k.txt" in Command Prompt. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
