Limitations ---------------- 1) After each uninstallation, must reboot before another installation. 2) Uncompatible with Proprietary driver. 3) Does not support PnP installation. 4) For ACR30SP, if after installation, the reader still doesn't work properly. Please reboot once more. 5) Readers must be connected to either COM1 or COM2 in order to work on XP SP2. 6) If only one readers is connected, it should always be connected to COM1.If two readers are connected, user should install two Vritual COM ports driver in order to drive the two readers at COM1 and COM2. 7) Manual installation is required for the second Virtual COM port driver as current installer does not support installation of two Virtual COM port driver 8) Should not be used together with 30SP on the same system 5. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
