Release Notes
-------------
This is version 1.04 of the Stealth 3D 2000 Series CD-ROM.

Overview
--------
The purpose of this CD-ROM is to provide a central location for all drivers
provided for the Stealth 3D 2000 Series graphics adapter.  This CD-ROM
is broken down into several subdirectories, with each subdirectory containing
drivers for a given operating environment.  At the root of each operating 
environment subdirectory is a set of instructions for installing the files for 
that subdirectory.

Recommended Installation Order
------------------------------
The following is the recommended installation order for Windows 3.1 and Windows
95:

	2.  Stealth 3D 2000 Series Windows 3.1 drivers

	3.  Mediamatics MPEG Arcade software MPEG player for Windows 3.1

Directory Structure
-------------------
Below is a graphical representation of the directory structure, with an
explanation of the contents of each directory.

|    |                          Four Palms.

|    |----WAVE                  This directory contains sample audio files from
|                               Clockwork Music Productions.

|----WINNT                      This directory contains version 1.10 of the 
|                               Windows NT 3.51 drivers.  The Windows NT 3.51
|                               drivers *CANNOT* be installed directly from
|                               this CD-ROM.  Please read the README.TXT in
|                               \WINNT for information on how to generate
|                               a floppy diskette for installation.

|----WIN95                      This directory contains version 4.02.020 of the
|                               Windows 95 drivers.
|
|----WIN31                      This directory contains version 1.01 of the 
|                               Windows 3.1 drivers.

|----SW_MPEG                    
|    |----WIN31                 This directory contains version 1.20.15 of the 
|    |                          Mediamatics MPEG Arcade software MPEG player 
|    |                          for Windows 95.
|    |
|    |----WIN95                 This directory contains version 1.00.16 of the
|                               Mediamatics MPEG Arcade software MPEG player
|                               for Windows 3.1.

|----DOC                        This directory contains the user's manual
|                               in Microsoft Windows 95/Windows NT Help format 
|                               (.HLP).

|----DIRECTX                    This directory contains Microsoft's DirectX 
|                               runtime for Windows 95.

|                               for Windows 95.

|----VFW                        This directory contains version 1.1E of

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
