Step1: Go into Windows 95 Step2: Go to Start Menu Step3: Select Settings, then Control Panel Step4: Select Modems Step5: Remove old or existing modem driver Step5: Select Add Step6: Select Do Not Search for modem Step7: Go to Have Disk Step8: Specify the drive and or directory where Newcom.inf resides Step9: Select the Newcom modem that you have ifx is internal, efx is external Step10: Go to the Properties and set the Maximum speed to 115200 Step11: Go back to the Control Panel then to the System Icon Step11: Select System Devices Step12: Double Click on PORTS(Com&Lpt) Step13: Hilight the port that the modem is on then go to Properties Step14: Select Port Settings Step15: Set the Bits Per Second at 115200 and the Flow Control to Hardware.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
