  Introduction
  ------------
Windows 95/98 provides a complete "Plug n' Play" System that will
automatically recognize and configure most PC Cards.

Before inserting your LanModem PC Card, the system's PCMCIA chipset
must be enabled and functioning. The PCMCIA chipset is responsible
for controlling the systems interface for PC Cards. Please consult
the system's manual or the manufacturer for use with Windows 95/98.

Multifunction PC Cards put a heavy demand on a system's resources.
Please resolve all system conflicts, errors, or other Windows issues
       before installing the LanModem.

Please have the Windows 95/98 installation media ready to accomodate
       any requests for files.

  Getting Started
  ---------------
With the system off, remove all PC Cards

       Start/Boot into Windows

       Remove any previous Network Setup
-Press the START button on task bar
	     -Select SETTINGS
	     -Select CONTROL PANEL
	     -Select NETWORK SETTINGS
-Highlight each network support entry and press REMOVE
-After all network support is removed, press OK

Insert the LanModem into one of the system's PCMCIA Slots

A "New Hardware Found" dialog box should appear, see
troubleshooting if the dialog box doesn't appear.

Select "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer"

Insert the LanModem driver disk in drive A:

Type in the path name A:\

Because the device is multifunction, the system will repeat
the "New Hardware Found" a few times. Please repeat the same
steps for each request made by the system.

The Window 95/98 PCMCIA installation will add Netware and Microsoft
network support automatically. Any network support can be adjusted
by the Network Support in the Control Panel.

  Troubleshooting
  ---------------
If the "New Hardware Found" dialog box doesn't appear.
	     -Run REGEDIT
	     -Select "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
