digicorp Communications Equipment Ltd. Readme.txt Driver Verison 1.2 This installation diskette is for DOS, Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. See the DiSQ-6 User Manual or the help files on this diskette for information on how to install the unit. You can switch the speed of the drive (and hence alter power consumption) between six and four speed (actually slightly faster) by using the Speed button on the front panel - the drive is at six speed when the Speed LED is lit. Known Problems: Under Windows 95, it has been found that sometimes on fast systems a drive letter is not assigned to the CD-ROM drive, when there is a CD in the drive, even when the card is recognised by Windows 95. This is caused by the Drive unit not responding fast enough to requests for PNP information from Windows 95. Often, simply removing the card and re-inserting it can solve the problem. Alternatively, 'stop' the card using the PC Card applet in the Control Panel and then choose 'Refresh' in the Device Manager. We are looking into how to improve this so that hot-insertions work every time on all systems. New features in this version: Improved installation routine, with automatic uninstall. Extensive Windows Help files, with Troubleshooting information. Improved DOS client driver. digicorp Technical Support If you have any problems, you can contact us in the following ways: Tel: +44 (0)1372 844151 e-mail: support@digicorp.co.ukDownload Driver Pack
