   Installing and configuring the Intel TokenExpress(TM)
   PRO adapter DLC driver for IBM Environments
   =====================================================

   Location of driver: disk 2 \DOSDLC

   Quick Installation
   ------------------

      Use the Automatic Setup option in TokenSet (disk 1) to install
      the DLC drivers.

      Sample CONFIG.SYS file
      ----------------------

	 FILES=20
	 BUFFERS=50
	 LASTDRIVE=E
	 DEVICE=C:\DLC\TPROARB1.SYS
	 DEVICE=C:\DLC\TPRODLC2.SYS
	 DEVICE=C:\DLC\DXMT0MOD.SYS <--- Only for Netbios support

   General Installation
   --------------------

      The TokenExpress installation is dependent upon whether or
      not your application requires the IBM Netbios protocol.

      1. Create a directory on your system hard disk for the
	  TokenExpress DLC drivers.

      2. Insert the Intel Driver disk 2 into drive A:.

      3. Copy the Interrupt Arbitrator (A:\DOSDLC\TPROARB1.SYS) and
	  the DLC driver (A:\DOSDLC\TPRODLC2.SYS) to the newly created
	  directory on your hard drive.

      4. If you are NOT using Netbios, skip to step 5. If you are
	  using Netbios, copy the DXMT0MOD.SYS file to the newly created
	  directory on your hard drive. The Netbios file, DXMT0MOD.SYS,
	  is found on the IBM LAN Support Program diskette (must be
	  purchased from IBM Corporation).

      5. Edit your CONFIG.SYS file and add the following lines:

	     FILES=20
	     BUFFERS=50
	     LASTDRIVE=(drive_letter)
	     DEVICE=(full_path)\TPROARB1.SYS
	     DEVICE=(full_path)\TPRODLC2.SYS
	     DEVICE=(full_path)\DXMT0MOD.SYS <--- Only for Netbios support

	  Where:

	     (drive_letter) is the designator of the
	     last local drive on your PC - e.g. E or F or ...)

	     (full_path) consists of the drive designator
	     followed by the name of the directory into which
	     the DLC driver and interrupt arbitrator have been
	     copied. Refer to steps 1 and 2 above.

      6. Complete your installation for AS/400 using the IBM installation
	  guides.

   Special Considerations
   ----------------------

      An optional country code can be specified when loading the interrupt
      arbitrator TPROARB1.SYS. Drivers loaded subsequently may then use
      this country code to display messages in the selected language.

      The country code is specified in the CONFIG.SYS file as follows:

	 DEVICE = (path)\TPROARB1.SYS <optional country code>

      At this time, 001 for U.S. English is the only supported country code.

      The TokenExpress DLC driver supports five (5) optional parameters.
      These parameters are specified in the CONFIG.SYS file as follows:

	 DEVICE=(path)\TPRODLC2.SYS -I<adapter number>9 -A -ON
				    -N<adapter number><node address>
				    -W<adapter number><work space size>

      Where:

	 - or / precedes parameter option and <adapter number>
	   specifies 0 or 1.
	 -I<adapter number>9 forces IRQ 9 to be used instead of IRQ 2
	 -A forces primary adapter to be configured as alternate adapter (1).
	 -N<adapter number><node address> allows a locally administered
	   node address to be configured.
	 -W<adapter number><work space size> allows the LLC work space
	   size to be specified. (Min. 3072 - Max. 16384 bytes)
	   (Default = 4096 bytes.)
	 -ON specifies that an older version of IBM NetBIOS
	   (previous to v1.3) is being used.

     Examples:

	 REM *** Int 5C Arbitrator Driver ***
	 DEVICE=<path>\TPROARB1.SYS 001
	   or
	 DEVICE=\LSP\DXMA0MOD.SYS 001 (IBM PC LAN Support v1.3)

	 REM *** DLC Driver ***
	 DEVICE=<path>\TPRODLC2.SYS -I09 -N1400001234567 -W05678

	 REM *** IBM NetBIOS Driver ***
	 DEVICE=\LSP\DXMT0MOD.SYS (IBM PC LAN Support v1.3)
