The following drivers are being provided for customers that have either a ISA SCSI card 53C400A (HP version) or the ISA SCSI card SYM20401/2/3. SYMBIOS/LSI LOGIC IN NO WAY WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT for these drivers. If you are having installation issues with the drivers or the cards then you need to contact HP for support. They can be reached at 208-323-2551. ********************************************************************* NOTE: For best results, move the files from the required directory to the root of the floppy diskette, before proceeding with the installation procedures. ********************************************************************* If you have a 53C400A ISA card that came with a different Scanner, (i.e. Umax, Artec, Microtech) then you need to contact the Scanner Manfacturer for the drivers. These drivers are for Windows 95, Windows NT 3.51 and NT 4.0 only. There are no drivers for any other Operating Systems, but they could work for Windows 98. There are no drivers for DOS for the 53C416 chipset. The card cannot be used as a bootable solution. If the card is being used for any other device outside of the HP Scanner, then the use of these drivers is AT YOUR OWN RISK. The NT416EDT.EXE utility can be used in Windows NT ONLY to change the IRQ that the card is being set to. For Windows 95, you need to go into the Properties of the driver and then go to the Resources Tab. Remove the check mark from the automatic setting and manually set the IRQ to the desired IRQ that you want to use with the card.Download Driver Pack
