This README file contains the following information when installing 
the printer driver in your computer.
Please carefully read it before operating.

 Installing the printer driver 
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Start Microsoft(R) Windows(R) operating system and quit all applications.
3. KX-P7305 / KX-P7310 printer driver is already installed on this PC.
   Before installing a new printer driver, you must first delete the 
   printer driver already installed on this PC. 
4. Restart Windows.
5. Double click C:\P7305\Disk1\setup.exe.
    The License Agreement window is displayed.
6. Click [Yes].
7. Select the model you want to install and click [Next >].
8. Click [Quick Printer Setup] and click [Next >].
9. Click on the check button as instruction below depending on the interface
   connecting the printer and click [Next >].
   The Select installed options window is displayed.
    [A] For parallel interface:
     Click on the [Select the current port] check button and click [LPT1:].
    [B] For USB interface:
     Click on the [Install USB port by Plug and Play].
10. Follow the instructions on the screen. Turn the printer on if it is required.

Note:
For Windows 95 / Windows 98 / Windows Me
    If the screen prompts to insert the CD-ROM for operating system when
    installing the printer driver, insert it into the CD-ROM drive of the
    computer.

For Windows 2000 / Windows XP / Windows Server 2003 / Windows XP x64 Edition
 / Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition
    If the Found New Hardware Wizard window is displayed during restarting
    Windows after installing the printer driver, perform the following 
    instructions.
     (1) Select Install the software automatically [Recommended] in the Found
         New Hardware Wizard window and click [Next >].
     (2) Select Printer Driver and click [Next >].
       * A caution message that printer hasn't passed Windows Logo test appear,
         but you can continue the installation with no problem.
     (3) Click [Continue Anyway].
     (4) Click [OK].
     (5) Click [Finish].
