Windows Firewall Setting Tool

* Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP operating system (Service Pack 2)
(hereafter Windows XP)
* Microsoft(R) Windows Server(TM) 2003 operating system (Service Pack 1)
(hereafter Windows Server 2003)
If the Windows Firewall is enabled, following problems occur.
[Device Monitor]
* Device Monitor does not notify a printer error even if
the "Popup when error occurs" is enabled.
* The "Print Notification" is not displayed even if
the "Enable Remote Print Notification" is enabled.
[HDD Utility]
* Spooled jobs are not displayed in the HDD Spooler window.
However above problems will be solved by Windows Firewall Setting Tool,
if you set the permission to Windows Firewall with our Windows Firewall Setting
Tool according to the following procedure.
NOTE :
This tool enables to add or remove both of the above utilities
at the same time in the exceptions list of Windows Firewall,
but each utility cannot be added or removed respectively.

* Add to the exceptions list.
************************************************************************
NOTE :
The network security in Windows Firewall is changed by using this tool.
Therefore, consult with your network administrator about the change of
the network security before adding to the exceptions list.
1. Double Click "SetupWF.exe".(e.g.: C:\CL22M\SetupWF\SetupWF.exe)
2. Select the "Add to the exceptions list" button.
3. Click the "OK" button.
4. Click the "OK" button.
5. Restart your computer.
Device Monitor and HDD Utility will work properly.
To confirm the changed security settings, perform the following steps.
1. Click "Start",
For Windows XP :
select "Control Panel", and then click "Security Center".
For Windows Server 2003 :
select "Control Panel".
2. Click "Windows Firewall".
3. Click the "Exceptions" tab.
4. Confirm the "Panasonic Trap Monitor Service" is added and checked in
the "Programs and Services:" list.
NOTE :
If you want to block the above utility,
remove from the exceptions list according to the following procedure.

* Remove from the exceptions list.
************************************************************************
1. Double click "SetupWF.exe".(e.g.: C:\CL22M\SetupWF\SetupWF.exe)
2. Select the "Remove from the exceptions list" button.
3. Click the "OK" button.
4. Click the "OK" button.
5. Restart your computer.
Device Monitor and HDD Utility will not work properly by blocking of
Windows Firewall.
To confirm the changed security settings, perform the following steps.
1. Click "Start",
For Windows XP :
select "Control Panel", and then click "Security Center".
For Windows Server 2003 :
select "Control Panel".
2. Click "Windows Firewall".
3. Click the "Exceptions" tab.
4. Confirm the "Panasonic Trap Monitor Service" is removed from
the "Programs and Services:" list.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
