This file describes installation of ARK Logic tools and display drivers for
Windows 95. This distribution includes:

1. ARK Logic 1000xx and 2000xx series drivers
2. ARK Tools, a program which allows you to select or change
   desktop display settings such as disptop size, viewport size, color depth,
   font size, refresh rate and screen position. 

If you only want install the display drivers, follow the procedure in 
"How to Install Display Driver". If you want to install both ARK tools and 
display drivers, follow the procedure in "How to install ARK Tools".


A. HOW to install Display Driver:
---------------------------------
1.  Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
2.  Start the "Display" applet program.
3.  Select the "Settings" page, push the "Change Display Type" button.
4.  Push the "Change" button in the "Adapter Type" area.
5.  Push the "Have Disk" button and press "OK".
6.  Specify the path to the new driver and press the <ENTER> key:
	Example 1: Insert the drivers disk in the A: floppy drive,
		   and enter A:\.
	Example 2: Type in the name of the directory where you copied
		   the drivers, either on your local hard drive or
		   on a network share.
	Example 3: If you're not sure exactly where the drivers are,
		   choose the "Browse..." button are find them.
7.  The "Select Device" dialog box will appear. Select the adapter that
    corresponds to the one you installed in your machine and click OK.
8.  Windows 95 will copy the display drivers to the proper directories
    on your system.
9.  Continue choosing Close until asked to restart your machine from the
    "Systems Settings Change" dialog box.
10. After the system has restarted, you can go back into the Display
    applet and select alternate screen resolutions and color depths.


B. HOW to install ARK Tools:
----------------------------
1.  Click Start\Run
2.  Enter a:\setup or b:\setup.
3.  Click OK button to start setup program.
	or
1.  Click Start, Settings, and then Control Panel.
2.  Start the "Add/Remove Programs" applet program.
3.  Click Install button.
4.  Insert Setup Disk in the appropriate floppy drive.
5.  Click Next button to search installation program.
6.  Click Finish button to start setup program.
7.  Follow install program
8.  If you want to update display drivers (RECOMMENDED!) select 'Yes' 
    when asked to update display drivers
9.  Follow procedure "How to install display driver" starting with step 3.

Recommendation:	
    When you install ARK Tools, it is better to update Display Drivers 
    at the same time to ensure optimal performance.


C. HOW to UNinstall ARK Tools:
------------------------------
1.  Click Start, Settings, and then Control Panel.
2.  Start the "Add/Remove Programs" applet program.
3.  Close the Control Panel windows.
4.  Select ARK Tools from the list.
5.  Click "Add/Remove" button.
6.  Select "Yes" button.
7.  After finishing uninstall program, close Control Panel Group.
*8. Delete "ARKTools.CPL" file under your Windows System Directory.
*9. Delete "ARKTools.INI" file under your Windows Directory.

* If a "share violation" occurs, the UNInstall cannot uninstalls 
  control panel programs.
