Grandma 2000 Onetouch Camera Configurer May 28, 97 JE,MJM The application is installed by running the Setup program that will install the control drivers in the windows/system folder. It will also install a icon in desktop control bar. The control functions will be come active after the installation is complete and the PC is rebooted. Desktop Icon. The Desktop control Icon will allow for automatic camera configuration and manual configuration. The Grandma 2000 iVision icon will call a Video window when activated if no active video window is present. This will allow the user to adjust the video. Adjustment Adjustment of the camera is completed by following these steps: 1. The iVision (tm) icon on the Task bar. 2. Right Click. This activates the iVision (tm) Camera Wizard. 3. Choose the desired setup function Automatic or Manual. 4. In the Automatic mode the image appearance will be set Automatically. This is done by adjusting the values in driver source control panel for the camera. 5. The Manual mode will allow user to predefine the image appearance by adjusting the values in the driver source control panel. 6. If a Camera image is all ready open then Automatic Setup or Manual Setup is activated providing direct control over the displayed image. 7. The exit command at the bottom will deactive the camera control until the PC is rebooted or the Setup program is executed again. 8. If problems are encountered in the installion process delete the above listed files and reinstall. 2. If the image appears to bright reposition the camera and run automatic setup. 3. If Onetouch fails to operate check the current video capture revision. 4. To check the current revision check the camera control panel help screen to determine the revision. Note if no revision is displayed then the correct software driver is not installed. In that is the case then it is necessary to install a updated capture driver available at ftp.//ftp.siliconvision.com. 5. To uninstall Onetouch go to Windows/system/start menu/program/startup and delete the file Ivagent. Initial settings for Onetouch are stored in the Ivwin.ini file and updated each time the program is activated. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
