To print Readme.txt, open it in Notepad, and then on the File menu, click Print. CONTENTS ======== INSTALLING THE UNIMODEM INF FILES KNOWN PROBLEMS SUPPORT UNIMODEM V FUNCTIONALITY This release provides .inf files for our specific modems. The Unimodem INF files consists of the following parts: prolink.inf PROLINK 336/288/144 modem session 1 INSTALLING THE UNIMODEM INF FILES ================================== To install Unimodem INF, you must have a PC running Windows 95. These instructions assume that you have already successfully installed the modem hardware according to the our instructions. To install Unimodem INF, carry out the following steps: 1. Put INF disk in A:\. 2. In A:\, right-click the file Mdmcis.inf, and then click Install. 3. In Control Panel, double-click the Modem icon, and then click the Device Manager tab. 4. Double-click the Modem icon. 5. In the list, click your modem, and then click Remove. 6. Click Refresh. If the modem is Plug and Play, Windows 95 automatically detects the modem. If the modem is not automatically detected, carry out these additional steps: 1. In Control Panel, double-click the Modems icon. 2. If the Install New Modem wizard does not automatically start, click Add. 3. Follow the instructions on your screen to detect your modem. KNOWN PROBLEMS ============== Installing the Voice modem INF ------------------------------ If the modem is automatically detected, and Windows 95 is not support Unimodem V, the modem will be support data/fax only. SUPPORT UNIMODEM V FUNCTIONALITY ================================ Unimodem V support is available through Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS). Unimodem V is the newest release of Unimodem, That adds the most commonly requested features to support data/fax/voice modems, including wave playback and recording to and from the phone line, wave playback and recording to/from the handset, and support for speakerphones, caller ID, distinctive ringing, and call forwarding.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
