README2.TXT Driver File Contents (tigernt2.exe)

This file SOFTSET.EXE is for use under a DOS enviroment.  
It gets copied from the disk to your Windows directory during the
Install.  It is put on the disk if you only want to use it in a DOS 
enviroment without ever intending to run the Windows Installation.
Copy it to the hard disk your intending to use it on then execute it, 
setting it to the desired COM port and IRQ (interrupt).

How it is used..........

              A:\SETUP.DOS>COPY SOFTSET.EXE C:
                
              C:\SOFTSET.EXE C <MODEM COM PORT> I <MODEM IRQ>
                
              <MODEM COM PORT> = 1,2,3,4
                
              <MODEM IRQ>      = 3,4,5,10,11,12,15

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
