Welcome to Adaptec EZ-SCSI Lite 4.01a

This README file explains how to install Adaptec EZ-SCSI Lite 4.0. The
installation process copies a larger README.TXT file onto your hard drive
which explains Adaptec EZ-SCSI in greater detail. If your questions are not
answered in this file please refer to the README.TXT file on your hard drive
after installation.

GETTING STARTED

Windows 95, Windows NT, or Windows 3.1/3.11

If running any of the above,insert the "Adaptec EZ-SCSI Setup Disk"
into your floppy drive and run SETUP.EXE.
Follow the instructions.
When the Adaptec EZ-SCSI installation is complete, please select the
"EZ-SCSI README" option for additional information.
DOS
===
If running DOS, insert the "Adaptec EZ-SCSI Setup Disk" into your
floppy drive, change to your floppy's drive letter, and run
DOSINST.BAT. For example:
C:\> A:
A:\> DOSINST <Enter>
Follow the instructions.
When the Adaptec EZ-SCSI installation is complete, please select the
"EZ-SCSI README" option for additional information.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
