Changes included in this update made since MIL 7.5

Note: The MIL.DLL included in this patch is needed only if you use Format 7 RGB cameras or 
      if you need the M_VENDOR and MODEL inquires.


- Support for cameras with base address not equal to 0xF0F00000
- Support for MdigControl(M_GRAB_ABORT)
- Faster DigAlloc
- Added support for Basler A600F and better support for other Format 7 Basler cameras
- Faster MdigInquire for supported digitizer formats
- Corrected way of parsing the config registers of the 1394
- Fixed bug with Format 7 RGB cameras
- Fixed the "black bar" bug with JVC F75U in Format 7
- Fixed bug during digfree with 2 camera plugged in two different boards 
- Fixed the Timeout that caused the camera to stop responding in triggered mode.
- Changed the way the errors are reported to make sure they pop as soon as they are logged.
- Fixed bug with external trigger. The timeout value needed to be set after enabling the trigger.
- Added support for M_MODEL and M_VENDOR DigInquire
- Added support for non-standard UnitDirectoryOffset through mil.ini
- Added support for Sony XCD-X710 and XCD-X910 (16-bit images are bytes-swapped (big endian))
- Fixed bug with internal Format of grab buffer YUV
- Added a read back mecanism for register access
- Fixed problem with BusReset thread
- Added support for AVT cameras (without mil.ini) including Format 7
- Added support for ImiTech cameras
- Added controls to customize priority of all internals threads
- Added support for shared bandwidth (Format 7 only): use a fraction of the maximum byte per packet.
  Shared bandwidth is enable only when a digitizer is allocated using :
  MdigAlloc(Milsystem, M_DEV0, “DCF_FORMAT_7”, M_1394_BANDWIDTH(bandwidthPercentage_1_to_100), &MilDigitizer)
- Fixed Point Grey FLEA camera slow grab in Format 7.
- Added support for Prosilica CV1280.
- Fixed MdigInquire of the camera model
- Added more camera Id to the image_mtx.inf : replace your installation %windir%\inf version.
- Fixed MdigInquire(M_SERIAL_NUMBER_1)
- Fixed MdigInquire of the camera model : seen when more than 2 cameras are connected.
- Added a new grab mechanism for windows XP SP1. To enable it, set the following flag in mil.ini : UseLinearLinkListBuffer=1
- Fixed possible deadlock when system is loaded when UseLinearLinkListBuffer=1
- Fixed bug causing packets mismatch with Sony camera when using multiple cameras.
- 1394b camera can run on Meteor2/1394 board at 400Mb/s or on third party 1394b board at 800Mb/s or 1600Mb/s.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
