The LSI FC 4Gb Firmware supports these features:

o  Fusion-MPT(tm) v1.5 support (backwards compatible to Fusion-MPT(tm) v1.2)

o  Initiator and Target roles, individually or concurrently

o  4/2/1 Gbps auto-negotiation   

o  Point-to-point (N_Port), arbitrated loop (NL_Port), and switched fabric (N_Port)

o  Greater than 100,000 IO/sec performance

o  2300 active exchanges (single channel) or 1000 active exchanges (dual channel)

o  512 concurrent logins per port

o  Multiple Initiator / Cluster support

o  FC device hot-plug support

o  Virtual Ports, with support for up to 126 Alias IDs

o  Compliance: SCSI-3 Fibre Channel Protocol (SCSI-FCP), Fibre Channel Physical and

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
