Upgrading through PowerAlert Network Management Software version 12.04.0045
___________________________________________________________________________
1) Retrieve the 045 firmware upgrade file from Tripp Lite's website and unzip the
firmware files
2) From PANMS Console-List view, select all of the cards that need to be upgraded
by control-left clicking on each card
3) With the mouse pointer over one of the chosen card(s) status icon, right-click
and select the “Update SNMPCard Firmware” option.
NOTE: To remove a card IP Address from the list, click the
“Delete Selected IP Address” button.
5) Click the “Update” icon.
6) Click the “Browse” button next to the Application Image File category and select
the “rom.45.0.bin” file from the files4PANMS sub-directory from step 1

WARNING: Selecting the wrong file will cause the SNMPWEBCARD to become
non-functional
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7) Click the “Browse” button next to the Driver File Image category and select the
“pwralert.dat” file from the directory chosen in step 1.
8) Enter the default administrative password in the 3rd entry line.
NOTE: If the password has been changed from “admin”, enter the new password.
9) Select the minimum version of all pertinent cards (e.g. 12.04.0019) from
the drop-down list.
10) Click the “Start Update” button.
NOTE: The update process takes several minutes to complete
11) When the progress bar reaches 100% and the pop-up message stating the
upgrade was successful appears, close the Updating Tool window.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
