How to Use This Document

To view the Readme file on-screen in Windows Notepad, maximize the Notepad window. On the Format menu, click Word Wrap. To print the Readme file, open it in Notepad or another word processor, and then use the Print command on the File menu.

1. INSTALLATION

You must have administrator's right to install this software.
- To start the installation, run DP10-002.msi.
- Follow the instructions on the installation.
- At the end of the installation you will need to reboot your computer.

2. COMPATIBILITY
-----------------
The U.are.U Fingerprint Reader Driver Version and Recognition Engine Update DP10-002 is compatible with the following DigitalPersona products:
- Pro Workstation for Active Directory version 3.0.1 up to version 4.0.1
It is NOT compatible with the following DigitalPersona Products:
-Any version of DigitalPersona Gold SDK/Fingerprint Recognition software

3. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum system requirements:
- Pentium-class processor
- 8 MB disk space
- USB port
- Operating System: Windows 2003, Windows XP (Professional), and Windows 2000.

4. RELEASE NOTES

4.1 U.are.U 4000B Rev 101 Fingerprint Reader and New Fingerprint Keyboard Support.
This update will enable the support of the new U.are.U 4000B Fingerprint Reader Rev 101, and the New Fingerprint Keyboard part # 51007-001-101; only for the DigitalPersona products mentioned in the compatibility section.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
