Boadcom firmware flash only can be used in S2880, S2881 and S4882 ... those use broadcom 5704 lan chip as SMDC communication port. Firmware should be or above 1.73 Purpose:(see release.txt). Bootcode is 3.41 ver. asfipmi firmware is 2.44 ver. both bootcode, asfipmi and related configuration setting are all included in bxxxaxxx.bin. 1. use a bootable floppy, copy these .bat, .exe, and .bin files. If you have TSO CD(it is bootable), goto broadcom folder do flash directly. 2. Run asf.bat in dos mode. It will auto-flash FW. 3. After flash Broadcom Firmware. (new change, 1-14-2005) then the batch file will do MBC reset to load new IP to SMDC firmware.Download Driver Pack
