* GENERAL README INFORMATION *

This README.TXT file describes the contents of this Driver
Distribution Diskette. A RELEASE.NOT file, also included
in the root directory of this diskette, contains detailed
technical information regarding known anomalies.
Some of the README.TXT files are long. You can print a
copy of the appropriate README.TXT before beginning any of
the installations. To view the README.TXT file, you can
use a text editor installed on your system, or use the
following procedure:
At the MS-DOS prompt, enter the following:
MORE <README.TXT
The text output pauses at the end of each full screen.
The text output resumes when you press ENTER. To stop
viewing the README.TXT file, press CTRL-C.

* GENERAL DE305 INFORMATION *

The most important thing for Digital's DE305 Adapter is that:

*** To use DE305 adapter on Non-PnP machine, please run 1Step
program or SETUP305.EXE(in A:\ ) program, and set the
DE305 adapter to jumpless mode, otherwise driver can not
recognize the adapter.
*** 1Step program can not be used with Universal Network Client
(UNC) diskette Ver 1.1, it must use together with Universal
Network Client(UNC) diskette Ver 1.21 or later.
*** The driver DE305.COM is used for the Novell 3.1x and 4.x
network environments. Once fully installed a workstation
running this driver can log into a server running either
NetWare v3.1x or v4.x.
*** OEMSETNT.INF(NT3.5x, NT4.0 drivers information file)
put in Digital driver diskette A:\
*** OEMSETUP.INF(WFW 3.11 NDIS3 drivers information file)
put in Digital driver diskette A:\
*** DE305.INF (WINDOWS 95 drivers information file)
put in Digital driver diskette A:\
*** The NOVELL\SRVODI directory driver support Netware 4.10 and 3.1x.
*** If DE305 adapter is setted in jumpless mode(I/O 320 or 340),
in case which conflicted with some other device like SCSI Adapter.
It may not boot from DOS.
Please boot from floppy disk and run SETUP305.exe to readjust
DE305 adapter's I/O setting.

from DOS, type STARTODI and press Enter.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
