Netware Client32 driver installation.
DE305.LAN Digital Client32 ODI driver for DE305.
This driver complies with Netware ODI Server driver SPEC 3.3.
DE305.LDI The driver (DE305.LAN) installation information file for
Netware Server 4.12, DOS32, Microsoft Windows 3.x.
DE305.INF The driver (DE305.LAN) installation information file for
Microsoft Windows 95.

B.) Driver Installation for DOS32
1.> If you have completed installed the Netware Client 32 for DOS,
all you have to do is to modify STARTNET.BAT. Please see the
sample STARTNET.BAT below.
if not, Please follow the next step 2 - step 7.
Sample STARTNET.BAT is as follow:
DE305 setted in PnP mode : The slot parameter is needed for
installing PnP mode. Do NOT select port number when install in PnP
mode. The following startnet.bat support multi-adapter. The second
adapter slot=<number> is added by user for supportting multi-adapter.

Note: If the slot = < number > is NOT matched with system assigned.
Netware client 32 will prompt with the correct slot number.
You will need to modify slot number in startnet.bat. ortherwise
only the first frame< Ethernet_802.2 > is loaded successfully.
DE305 setted in jumpless(non-pnpmode) mode: The user need to add
port= < number> when complete install in jumpless mode.The following
STARTNET.BAT support single-adapter.

2.> Run INSTALL.EXE from Netware DOS 32 diskette 1 (or from Netware
4.11 CD). When the product manual appears, mark the
"Netware Client 32 for DOS" item, then press <Enter>.
3.> Select "OTHER DRIVERS" item from "32-bit Network Board Drivers" menu,
then press <Enter>.
4.> Insert Digital DE305 Driver Diskette into your floppy diskette drive,
then specify the driver path like A: or B:.
5.> Select "DE305 Digital EtherWORKS ISA driver", then
press <Enter>.
6.> Following instructions to complete the Client32 for DOS software
installation.
7.> Reboot your machine.
C.) Driver Installation for Microsoft Windows 3.x
Please refer to Content B.), in step 2, mark "Netware Client 32 for DOS"
and "Client 32 for Windows"; in step 4, specify the driver path like
A:\LANDRV32\DE305.LAN or B:\LANDRV32\DE305.LAN. then following step 3..7
to complete the installation.
D.) Driver Installation for Microsoft Windows 95
If you have installed the Microsoft Client in your Windows 95 system,
you should remove the adapter object and NDIS 2/3 driver of the DE305
adapter from the Windows 95 system. If you have installed previously
Digital's DE305 NDIS 2/3 driver, you should do the following steps
before installing the DE305 Client32 driver.
D.1) Remove the previously installed adapter object & driver of
Digital DE305, if any.

1.> Click the "My Computer" icon in the Main Program Group.
2.> Click the "Control Panel" icon from My Computer window.
3.> Click the "System" icon from the Control Panel window.
4.> Click the "Network adapter" icon from System window.
5.> Click the "DE305 Digital EtherWORKS Adapter" icon from
System window.
6.> Click <Remove> button, then click <OK> button.
7.> Close the opened windows.
Note: If you NEVER pluged DE305 Digital EtherWORKS ISA adapter
into your PC, Procedure D.1) is not necessary. And you
just start from Procedure D.2).
D.2) Client 32 Driver Installation on Windows 95
===============================================
8.> Plug Digital's DE305 adapter onto one of the ISA or EISA
slots of your PC machine.
9.> Turn the power on to bootup the Windows 95.
10.> Windows 95 will then prompt the "DE305 Digital EtherWORKS ISA
Adapter" in New Hardware Found dialog box.
11.> Following instructions to complete the installation.
Note: Windows 95 will ask you to keyin the proper path of the
following diskette:
a.> Netware Client 32 for Windows 95 Disk,
b.> DE305 Digital EtherWORKS ISA Adapter Driver Diskette
--> Insert DE305 Digital Driver Diskette,
then, assign the path to A:\LANDRV32 or B:\LANDRV32
c.> Windows 95 CD-ROM

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
