1.0 What's New?
---------------

IC-Card+ Ethernet PC Card equipped with Just-In-Time-Interrupt
(JITI) on board remarkably boosts its performance and optimizes
CPU Utilization.

The enhancement in throughput provided by JITI is astonishing. It's
the A.I. enabled network interface card in the industry and the best
performance card in the market. With JITI, the improved IC-Card+ Ethernet
PC Card's performance is sure to benefit most our users.

The IC-Card+ supports the Full Duplex mode when using the 10BaseT media
which provides the 20M Bits bandwidth for data transferring.
For the BNC media, it can only be configured to Half Duplex Mode.

For the convience of configuration, the IC-Card+ supports "Auto Negotiation"
mode. It can auto determine the duplex mode (half or full duplex).

2.0 Overview
------------

The IC-Card+ PC Card is designed to work with notebook or
handheld computers that either comes with Socket Services and Card
Serveices or have Intel PC Card controller or compatible controller.

The ODI DOS driver, NDIS DOS driver, and NDIS OS/2 driver are the
only network operating system drivers that support an On-Line
Hot-Swap function which allows the card to be removed
and re-inserted without reloading the driver.

After inserting the IC-Card+ PC Card into a slot, it is strongly
recommended to run INSTALL.EXE in the DOS environment. Then follow
onscreen instructions to complete the installation process.

2.1 About INSTALL.EXE
---------------------

Before running the install.exe, please insert the IC-Card+ PC Card into
PCMCIA slot in your notebook or handheld computers. The install.exe
program will find the available resource (IO base address and Interrupt
number) for the IC-Card+ PC Card automatically.

For the Netware DOS Client users:

Selecting the "Quick Installation for Netware Client" item of the
install.exe, installation program will copy the IC-Card+ driver to
the computer and modified the autoexec.bat file of the computer.
After installation, just restart the computer and will connect
    to the Netware server automatically.

For the other users:

Running install.exe will display the installation instructions.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation
    process.
