===================
- Some USB 2.0 devices and features are not supported in this driver
release. USB Remote Wake Up is not supported.

- Windows 98SE users - The IBM ThinkPad 600E may have problems when
resuming from standby mode when using the Adaptec USB 2.0 drivers.
Disable suspend through the "Power Options" control panel.

Known Issues
============

Suspend and Resume Issues
-------------------------
- To avoid potential system problems, do not attempt to put your system
into standby or hibernation mode while it's transferring data to a USB
  device.

- If you have a USB 2.0 isochronous device connected to the AUA-1411,
your device may not function properly when entering standby, inactive
standby, or hibernation mode. To work around this issue, unplug your
device, then re-plug it into the USB port of the AUA-1411.

Boot and Shutdown Issues
------------------------
- Windows 2000 users only - If you are using a Sony PCG-FX340 laptop
with the Adaptec USB 2.0 driver, Adaptec recommends that you either
insert the AUA-1411 after your computer has finished booting or
use the Microsoft USB 2.0 driver. If you are using the Adaptec USB
2.0 driver and the AUA-1411 is inserted before you power on your
computer, the system will fail to boot.

Installing, Enabling, and Disabling Driver
------------------------------------------
- Before enabling or disabling the Adaptec Enhanced Host Controller
in the Device Manager, stop and disconnect all USB devices connected to
  the AUA-1411.

- Windows Me users only - During driver installation, some systems may fail
to detect all the controllers on the AUA-1411. To resolve this, restart
your system. The remaining controllers will be detected and installed.

Connecting and Removing USB Devices
-----------------------------------
- Unplugging a webcam while streaming video may cause system problems.
To work around this issue, always stop streaming video and close any
preview or capture applications before unplugging the webcam.

- The Buslink USB 1.1 hard disk drive may not work properly when connected
to an Adaptec USB 2.0 controller. To work around this issue, connect the
Buslink USB 1.1 hard disk drive directly to an onboard USB port. Check
the manufacturer's Web site for software updates.

- The iBot2 USB 2.0 camera may not work correctly on some systems when
plugged into an Adaptec USB 2.0 card or hub. To work around this issue,
plug the camera directly into an onboard USB port. Check the manufacturer's
  Web site for software updates.

- When disconnecting USB devices, use the "Unplug or eject" icon on your
Taskbar to stop your device and then physically unplug the device from
the USB port. If you need to remove more then one device, select the first
device you want to remove from the "Unplug or eject" list and then unplug
that device from the USB port, before removing the next device.

- When you are using an HP PSC-750 printer/scanner/copier, a Tascam USB-428
audio/MIDI interface, or an ADS camera, Adaptec recommends that you connect
the device directly to your AUA-1411 or onboard USB port rather than through
  a hub.
