Upgrade procedure
-----------------

This contains:
1) 412R203.s3r - Version 2.03 of the enclosure firmeware

There is a slight risk when flashing the loader. The risk relates to losing
power while flashing or flashing a corrupt file. If either of these events
happen, you will have to contact technical support for an RMA replacement.

You will need to flash the files using the following steps:

1. Connect one end of a null modem cable to the SAF-TE port located on the rear of the enclosure. The cable must be a female-to-female DB-9 null modem cable.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to the serial commonucations port on a host computer running a terminal emulation program.

3. The COM port parameters should be:

	9,600 or 19,200 Baud
8 Data bits, 1 Stop bit, No parity (also known as 8,None,1)
	Flow control = Off
The SAF-TE port baud rate is set by switch 6: Up for 19,200 and Down for 9,600

4. At the cursor, type Ctrl+E

The Enclosure Terminal Utility menu will appear.

5. Select Firmware Upload (option 5) by pressing the 5 Key.

6. Press U to start the upload. Using the mouse, click on the Transfers pull-down menu and select Send.

7. Click the Browse button and locate the new firmware file and click Send.

THe firmware file will have an S3R extension.

After the transfer, the enclosure should be rebooted to ensure the new firmware takes effect.
