A. INSTALLATION
===============
If you have already installed an earlier version of the "Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba" , please remove it using "Add or Remove Programs" 
via the Control Panel. Then install the new version of the "Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba".

B. SUPPORT
==========
(1) HCRP (Hardcopy Cable RePlacement) and HID (Human Interface Device) profiles are added as compared with v1.02.xx. 

(2) FTP (File Transfer Profile) and OPP(Object Push Profile) are supported without SPANworks software as compared with v1.02.xx. 


C. KNOWN ISSUES - MS WINDOWS OS 
===============================
(1) The HID profile is disabled when you use Toshiba notebook PCs with the embedded SiliconWave/Taiyo Yuden Bluetooth module.
When you try to use a HID device on this older configurations, you will receive a warning message:
"Human Interface Device(HID) Profile is not supported in this configuration".

(2) If you are using Winfax 10 Pro you have to set the FaxClass to 1 in order to make sure that the communication via Bluetooth is working
correctly. If you set FaxClass 2 or 2.0 you may experience problems when receiving a fax.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
