1.0 Introduction
================
This display driver are supported for the Windows 98/ME, NT4.0,
Win2000 operating system. The setup program will install the driver
and utility.
2.0 Installation Notes for Windows 98/ME
========================================
This driver package contains:

The utility files contain:

Procedure
=========
1. Start Windows 98/ME operating system.
2. Insert the CD into CD-drive.
3. From the Start menu, choose Run and type: "F:\win98\setup"
(where "F" should be substituted as your CD-drive), click
"OK" button, the setup program will start.
4. In this installation, there are three setup-types you can choose:
- Typical
Install all of components in this package, including VGA
driver and utilities.
- Compact
Install driver only.
- Custom
Install components by your choice.
Also, the destination and utility program folder can be choosen
by yourself.
5. Restart your computer when the installation is completed.

The utility resource bitmaps and icons are at F:\win2000&WinXP\UtilRes
Procedure
=========
1. Start Windows NT operating system.
2. Insert the CD into CD-drive.
3. From "Start" menu, choose "Settings", run "Display" program
located in the "Control Panel".
4. Select the "Setting" page.
5. Click "Display Type..." button.
6. Select "Change..." from the display options.
7. Select "Have Disk...".
8. Type: "F:\win98"(where "F" should be substituted as your
CD-drive) and click "OK" button, all appropriate files are copied
to the hard disk.
9. Restart your computer when the installation is completed.
2.2 Installation Notes for Windows 2000 / WinXP

This driver contains:

"OK" button, the setup program will start.
4. In this installation, there are three setup-types you can choose:
- Typical
Install all of components in this package, including VGA
driver and utilities.

Install driver only.

Also, the Destination and utility program folder can be choosen

5. Restart your computer when the installation is completed, and
use SiS drivers.
3.0 Uninstalling drivers for Windows 98/ME
==========================================
You can choose one of three methods in the following to uninstall:
1. Under "Program Files" in the "Start" menu, run "Uninstall"
from the item "SiS Compatible VGA vx.xx.xx"(Here x.xx.xx means the version).
2. Under taskbar, choose SiS tray icon in the right-down corner,
click right mouse button, run "Remove drivers" in the
"Applications".
3. In the "Control Panel", run "Add/Remove programs", select
"SiS Compatible VGA vx.xx.xx"(Here x.xx.xx means the version) and click
"Add/Remove" button.
3.1 Uninstalling drivers for Windows NT
=======================================
In the "Control Panel", run "System" program, select "Device
Manager...", choose "Display Adapters" and remove "SiS Compatible VGA".
3.2 Uninstalling drivers for Windows 2000 / WinXP
=========================================
You can choose one of three methods in the following to uninstall:
1. Under "Program Files" in the "Start" menu, run "Uninstall"
from the item "SiS Compatible VGA vx.xx.xx"(Here x.xx.xx means the version).
2. Under taskbar, choose SiS tray icon in the right-down corner,
click right mouse button, run "Remove drivers" in the
"Applications".
3. In the "Control Panel", run "Add/Remove programs", select
"SiS Compatible VGA vx.xx.xx"(Here x.xx.xx means the version) and click
"Add/Remove" button.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
