Run in silent mode. SETUP -s 2. Forces a system reboot after the installation completes. SETUP -s -b 3. Suppresses the display of the license agreement screen. SETUP -s -nolic -- HOW TO VERIFYING THE INSTALLATION OF THE SOFTWARE 1.Click on the "My Computer" icon, then click on the "Control Panel" icon, and then click on the "System" icon. 2.Select the "Hardware" tab and then click on the "Device Manager..." button. 3.Select the "Display Adapters" icon. The Intel Graphics Driver should be listed. If not, the driver is not installed correctly. To check the version of the driver, refer to the section below. -- HOW TO IDENTIFYING THE SOFTWARE VERSION NUMBER 1.Click on the "My Computer" icon, then click on the "Control Panel" icon, and then click on the "Display" icon. 2.Select the "Settings" tab and then click on the "Advanced" button. 3.Select the "Intel(R) Graphics Technology" tab. The graphics driver version should be listed on this screen. -- HOW TO UNINSTALLING THE SOFTWARE NOTE: This procedure assumes the above installation process was successful. This uninstallation procedure is specific only to the version of the driver and installation files included in this package. 1.Click on the "My Computer" icon, then click on the "Control Panel" icon, and then click on the "Add-remove Programs" icon. 2.Select on the "Intel Extreme Graphics Driver" tab and then click on the "Remove" button. 3.Click on the "OK" button and then click on the "Yes" button to reboot. -- SPECIAL NOTES OR RESTRICTIONS/CAUTIONS: To properly install the driver for Windows XP, the following steps must be taken. This will be fixed in future drivers. Procedure to correctly load drivers on Windows XP ( HaveDisk ): 1) Go to Device Manager and install drivers as is currently done 2) Wait for driver install to complete. DO NOT click Finish yet or reboot system yet. 3) Minimize the Device Manager window so that any hidden New Hardware Found windows are visible. 3) This New Hardware found windows should now be displayed on the Desktop ( or on top of the Device Manager window). This may take a few seconds to show up. 4) Make sure to respond to each New Hardware prompt. Click on Automatic Install. DO NOT point to any directory path for these drivers. Wait for completion before continuing. (In the event that the new hardware prompt does not pop up, finish the driver installation and the new hardware prompt should be seen on the subsequent re-boot.) 5) ALL New Hardware prompts must be completed before clicking Finish for install. The following Found New Hardware prompt windows should be seen: 1) SoftBios 2) KCH 3) All installed AIM modules Please be sure that you see New Hardware Found prompts. At a minimum, you should always see two ( SoftBios, KCH). If you do not see these, and click Finish to complete the install, subsequent boot will be to VGA.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
