File(s) modified: VFPSSIO.INF

-Duplicated VACER730.DLL to another file named VFPSSIO.DLL.  Modified VFPSSIO.INF
 to copy VFPSSIO.DLL to ..\system32\drivers directory. It corrects denial access
 to fingerprint sensor for non-admin. user.

-Fixed "Save image" not able to save fingerprint image in Veridicom Diagnostics
 due to missing VFPSAPI.DLL in ..\system32\drivers.

First Time Driver Installation
==============================

1. Go to Control Panel. Click on Add new hardware.

2. Follow screen instructions. When prompted :
" Do you want Windows to search for the new hardware ?"
Click on :
"No, I want to select the hardware from a list"

3. From the list of Hardware types, select "Other devices" 
(question mark icon).

4. Click on "Have Disk".

5. Specify location where the WDM driver disk is. 
And proceed with the installation.

6. After the installation is completed, go to Control Panel,
click on Veridicom diagnostics to make sure driver is working OK.

Driver update
=============

1. Start Control Panel. Click on the system icon.

2. Select the Device Manager tab.

3. Open the System Devices item. And look for :
"Veridicom - Super I/O driver".  Click on it. Click on properties.

4. Click on the Driver tab.

5. Click on Update Driver. When prompted, select :
"Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location".

6. Specify the location where the updated Veridicom drivers are.

7. Continue with the driver update.

8. Once driver update is completed, go to Control Panel, and run
Veridicom diagnostics, to make sure drivers are working properly.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
