LtMoh Modem-on-Hold Application 1.64 Beta - Read Me

This application is only for use the Zoom/Modem V.92 PC Card Model 3005L* in Windows 2000 and XP.  

* Note: If your modem's serial number contains an "L", your modem is a Model 3005L.  The serial number is located under the barcode on the bottom label and uses the format xxxx-(x)3005-xx-xxL-xxxx.


Please follow the steps below to install LtMoh.

1. Copy "Ltmoh.ini" and "mohapi.dll" to the Windows\System32 or WINNT\System32 folder in your hard drive (normally C:).

2. Copy "LtMoh.exe" to the Program Files folder in your hard drive.
Note: If you want the program to launch automatically at system startup, place a shortcut of the program in the Startup folder.

3. Restart the computer.  

4. Before connecting to your Internet service provider (which must support V.92 AND offer it with Modem-on-Hold), make sure that LtMoh is enabled.  If there is no "red circle" icon in the taskbar, go to Start > Programs and launch LtMoh.  When a call comes in while you are on-line, you will be alerted with a pop-up window.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
