README Driver File Contents (ide.zip)

The new version of DC-620(B) ( with BIOS/FIRM version greater than 2.01 )
supports EISA ID. This enables the EISA configuration utility to recognize
a DC-620(B) as an EISA controller. The configuration file ( !TRM0620.CFG )
is used for EISA card identification only. To run the ECU (EISA Configuration
Utility), you have to copy this configuration file to your ECU diskette first.

All other options of the controller must be set within the ACM by pressing F2
or F6. There is no functional discrepancy between running the ECU for
DC-620(B) or not. The major difference would be the warning message, "Invalid
configuration information for SLOT ?", if not running the ECU. Once again,
you can ignore this warning message without any side effects.
