Procedures to update with P08.10 BIOS:
1. Unzip "R710 BIOS P08.10.zip" to USB Handy Drive due to that the BIOS ROM file is 2MB.
2. MAKE SURE the BIOS select jumper (J1A4 pin 1-2) is set correctly.
3. Boot to DOS and type: FBB.bat to start flash.
Procedures to update with FRU/SDR firmware v6.6.2:
1. Unzip "R710 FRUSDR 6.6.2.zip" to a floppy diskette.
2. Boot up R710 into pure DOS mode.
3. There are two SKUs for R710 regarding system fans.
One is with 4 system fans (standard SKU), the other is with 8 system fans.
* If your R710 is with 4 system fans, pls type: R710_4F
* If your R710 is with 8 system fans, pls type: R710_8F
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
