Procedures to update BIOS: 1. Boot up system to MS DOS. 2. Run "F82727 S523F01.ROM /B" 3. Please wait for loading BIOS ROM. 4. Restart server after the update is done. 5. Enter BIOS setup to load Optimal Default. Procedures to update BMC firmware: 1. Read BMC firmware release note and know which flash utility to the new firmware version. 2. Copy BMC flash utility FILETxxx.EXE and BMC firmware BMCyyy.BIN to a bootable DOS/Windows diskette. Where filet.exe version and yyy means BMC firmware version. 3. Shutdown server and insert this diskette, then power on server. 4. Server should boot to diskette with prompt A:\>. 5. Type FILETxxx BMCyyy.BIN (case insensitive) and press ENTER 6. FILET displays message during flash in progress. 7. Wait for flash completed and make sure there is no error or showed on screen. 8. Power off server and remove diskette, then power on. 9. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
