They are not required or recommended for use with Windows 95 (except to have access to your CD-ROM drive in Win95's MS-DOS mode). The included INSTALL.EXE file will help you copy the correct version of TOSCDROM.SYS for your computer. INSTALL will ask you which drive you have (2X, 4X, 6X, 10X or 20X) and will copy the appropriate driver to the root directory of your C: drive. When INSTALL is complete, you will need to modify your DOS CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files as described below. ============================================================================== Usage: The CD-ROM driver loads as a device driver in your DOS CONFIG.SYS file DEVICE=TOSCDROM.SYS /D:TOSCD001 When this driver loads successfully, it sets up a DOS device name of "TOSCD001" for your CD-ROM drive. You'll need to load the Microsoft CD-ROM Extensions in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file as well. MSCDEX.EXE is usually located in the \WINDOWS directory. IF EXIST TOSCD001 MSCDEX /D:TOSCD001 /M:10 /L:[drive letter] where [drive letter] is the desired drive letter for the CD-ROM drive. If the drive letter is not specified, the drive letter for the CD-ROM drive will be the next drive letter available for mapping. The /D:TOSCD001 parameter tells MSCDEX which CD-ROM device to look for. **end**Download Driver Pack
