Voodoo series G.O.D compatable win xp drivers.
========================================
These drivers are made up of files taken from various diffent version of released ofical 3dfx drivers. they have been put together by evilbanshee and packed with tools by ZeroSignull.

Instalation Notes
=============
The Typical inslatter install the Voodoo 4/5 series components. if u have another Voodoo card and wish to install a diferent set of components choose custom setup then select the compnents* u want to install.

*Only install one set driver components or the 3dfx tools will no install!

Module Merge error
================
Some pple reported a module merge error during intalation of 3dfx tools. Although i think has been solved in this release of the dirver kit if it ocurs ignore the errors and apply the reg file found in the drivers2k directory. This may or may not fix the problem.
Caution
=======
if u want to try to improve theses drivers read the folowing. it contains all that i can figur out about the drivers.

Now i threid to update the dirvers but it turning to be a bit imposible. Now the .sys file(3dfxvsm.sys) in the files folder is used as some sort of gateway between the directx file (3dfxvs.dll) adn the sytem. now heres the bitch. We know for a fact that opengl needs atleast directx 7 (the direct draw bit) this is becase 3dfx just made the openg drivers (3dfxOGL.dll) use the glide 3.x driver to do all the work,this is y opengl looks better and plays faster on a voodoo bases card. now the bad thing is that if u try replacig the (3dfxOGL.dll) with a newrer one without updating the glide3.x dll (glide3x.dll) then u are going to get errors. Now the bitch of the thing is that the glide3x.dll needs ddraw.dll to work which in turn meens u goto update the 3dfxvsm.sys and 3dfxvs.dll. now i think that one of the last two files are blocking the ability for glide to work on xp therfore everything else just falls to @#%$. now i have the beta xp drivers for the voodoo 3 which are suposed to let opengl work but it doesnt they are just older versions of 3dfxvsm.sys, 3dfxvs.dll and opengl32.dll. one more thing if u have a newer version of 3dfxvs.dll than 3dfxvsm.sys thenu will get a sytem halt when xp try to load the gui.(i think its newer carnt remember) Hopw this help some pple out there

O forgot to say. now erm i was thinking that because i know that version 1.0.0.734 or the 3dfxOGL.dll doesnt work with thid drivers set because it neeeds a new er version of glide3x.dll to run (complains it carnt find entry point for _gpendingbiffers4@ in the glide3x.dll) Now does ne on have or tied a between 3dfxOGL.dll 1.0.0.688 and 1.0.0.734 ?? if u have a dll between those two version try it and c. if u dot get ne erros send the dll to evilbanshee so he can repackage the drivers and reditribute them for us. (nerwer 3dfxOGL.dll still may only need the glide3x.dll that comes with these drivers). i think though that some time is going to have to go to thinking how wer are going to get a better version of the glide3x.dll workig.
